Heritage Opera, Northwest England's professional touring opera company, returns to Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre with Puccini's Madame Butterfly - the heartbreaking story of Cio Cio San, the Nagasaki geisha, and her unwavering belief that the husband who married, then deserted her, Lieutenant BF Pinkerton of the United States Navy, will one day return.

In a slight change to our original plans we will now have our annual MacMillan Big Coffee Morning on our usual Coffee Morning - Friday 21st Sept - Not 28th Sept as advertised in the brochure.  Please come along and join us for a cup of tea/coffee and cake for just £2.50 and help raise money for MACMILLAN Cancer Support.
