Dave Tucker, Phil Biggs and Mark Addison appeared as part of “Crossing the Tracks” at Blackfriars in a memorable gig at Blackfriars last year, with a return visit 12th October!

Here is a chance to hear them in acoustic mode, together with John Blanks. John is a fine singer and guitarist in his own right, as well as being Mark’s song writing partner, with several award winning compositions to their credit.

Phil too writes and sings wonderful songs which the band intersperse with choice material from both sides of the Atlantic, together with fine harmony vocals and multi stringed instrumental accompaniment.

Phil Biggs - Vocals, Guitars, Mandola
John Blanks - Vocals, Guitar
Dave Tucker - Mandolin, mandocello, bouzouki, guitars, dobro, Weissenborn, banjo.
Mark Addison - Bass

We're also delighted to announce that Phil's new song "Old Bob's Day" has got through to the finals of the BBC Radio "Song for Lincolnshire" competition. It will be performed at the finals night at the South Holland Centre in Spalding on 7th November, which will also be broadcast live on BBC Radio Lincolnshire!

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. If you would be interested in helping out please speak to our Box Office.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you enjoy the show and encourage others to help Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
