Big Fish, based on the novel written by Danny Wallace and the 2003 Tim Burton film starring Euan McGregor and Danny DeVito, will be BOS Musical Theatre Group's next production, and what a show it promises to be! With music written by the same team who wrote The Addams Family, you can expect some superb musical numbers to complement this entertaining yet moving story. It is a magical tale about a son's desire to connect with his father as he discovers he is soon to become a father himself. He begins to investigate all the tall stories his father has told throughout his life, trying to discover the truth about the man he so desperately wants to know and understand. It is a musical full of life - the ups and the downs, the joys and the sadness, the truth behind the fantasies, witches, giants, werewolves, mermaids, a whole circus troupe, fabulous songs, great dance numbers and above all - love.
