The Comedy Hotspot are back for their next show at Blackfriars! It's another great line up to enjoy with 4 of the best comics on one bill.

James Cook

A Birmingham-based comedian, James Cook won a one-off Jongleurs/Spike Milligan award for being the funniest person in the Midlands. Described as the next Frank Skinner.

Nick Page

Britain's Got Talent Semi-Finalist, former English Comedian of the Year 2017/2018. Nick has headlined gigs all over the world. "The very best story teller on the comedy circuit" - Rhod Gilbert.

Jack Carroll

Britain's Got Talent runner up at the age of 14, and hailed a comedy genius by David Walliams. He has done tour support for Jason Manford. He also has numerous TV appearances, including Trollied and Live at the Apollo.

Terry Alderton

Terry is often referred to as a comedy genius by fellow comics. Comedy TV appearances include Michael McIntyres Comedy Roadshow, The Jonathan Ross Show and The Royal Variety Performance amongst many. You may also recognise Terry from Eastenders. It is rare for Terry to do club comedy this far North!!!

Bar opens 7pm, Laughter starts 8pm!

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers, we don't charge an admin fee and don't intend to. The full levy plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
