Due to the current government guidance on Amateur Theatre groups it has not been possible for Playgoers to resume rehearsals for this production so they have no choice but to cancel this production.

They do hope to be able to bring the production to the Blackfriars stage at some point during 2022. Keep your eyes peeled for details.

They would like to thank all of their followers for their support and understanding at this time.

All bookings for this show will be refunded - Box Office will be in touch if you booked direct with us.

Come and solve the murder mystery at Boston Playgoers' brand new summer production, written by award winning local playwright and academy teacher, Kei Bailey.

When Julie Peach wins a luxury weekend at an exclusive health spa on a remote island, she jumps at the chance to get away so she can relax, shed a few pounds and tone up. With her best friend, Sandra, in tow, Julie arrives and begins to meet her fellow guests; all wealthy, famous or both.

Unfortunately, it isn’t long before a freak accident is reported after a body is discovered on the premises. But when the staff go to send for help, they realise the boats have been destroyed and all forms of communication have been sabotaged. Very soon, another person is found dead and everyone trapped on the island begins to suspect foul play. Worried that a killer is amongst them, Julie and Sandra soon find themselves as reluctant amateur sleuths in a murder mystery adventure.

**Prices include a 50p per seat 'refurbishment' levy.

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. The full levy plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.

Please note: All productions will be managed in a Covid Secure way, this means depending on Government guidance at the time that you may be requested to move seats upon arrival at the theatre for the performance to allow for social distancing. We will always do our best to ensure you are seated as close to your original seat selection as possible, but our main priority will be to make sure that everyone in the theatre at the time is kept safe. Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you Enjoy the Show and encourage others to Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
