CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION - Due to the required rehearsal period for BOS Musical Theatre Group shows and the latest announcement by the government BOS Musical Theatre Group have decided to cancel their production of Made In Dagenham. They would like to thank you for your continued support of Blackfriars Theatre and BOS Musical Theatre Group.

Please note that BOS are still hoping to bring you a show in November 2020 subject to the current government restrictions being lifted - more details will be announced through their FB group and Blackfriars website. They also still hope to bring Made In Dagenham to the theatre at some point in the future.

Box Office will be in touch to organise any refunds.

Essex 1968. Like millions of other working women, each morning Rita O’Grady is just trying to get her husband out of bed, get the kids off to school and get to work at the factory on time. But life is about to change forever when it’s announced that the girls in the stitching room of Ford’s Dagenham car plant will have their pay grade dropped to ‘unskilled’. Quickly drawing on a strength she never knew she had, Rita leads her friends in a battle against the might of Ford and the corruption of the Union supposed to protect them. As the girls’ inspiring journey gets bigger than anyone could have imagined, the pressure is too much for some, but can Rita keep up the fight and the happy home she’s worked so hard for?

Brought to you by the Production Team for The Full Monty and 9 to 5, this funny, touching and important musical is not to be missed.

**Prices include a 50p per seat 'refurbishment' levy.

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. The full levy plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.

Please note: All productions will be managed in a Covid Secure way, this means depending on Government guidance at the time that you may be requested to move seats upon arrival at the theatre for the performance to allow for social distancing. We will always do our best to ensure you are seated as close to your original seat selection as possible, but our main priority will be to make sure that everyone in the theatre at the time is kept safe. Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you Enjoy the Show and encourage others to Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
