Blackfriars Theatre Academy's final show of 2019 is Once Upon a Christmas Past!

Jane, Tamsin, Flo, Bex and Annalee have been friends since primary school. Now, nineteen years-old and living away, the five friends return to their home town for the Christmas holidays and get ready for a festive night out. As they begin to reminisce, the young women share memories of their lives together throughout school and reflect on the influence they’ve had on each other’s lives. A musical play about the laughter and tears of friendship and the magic of Christmas, featuring songs from: Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Matilda, Frozen, Anastasia and Mary Poppins Returns.

Come and support these talented youngsters in their Christmas show, written by local playwright and academy teacher, Kei Bailey.

Suitable for the whole family to come and enjoy!

**Prices include a 50p per seat 'refurbishment' levy.

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers, we don't charge an admin fee and don't intend to. The full levy plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you Enjoy the Show and encourage others to Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
