2020 marks the 400th anniversary of the historic Mayflower voyage. Multi award-winning folk singer Seth Lakeman was raised and still lives on Dartmoor, within sight of the sea at Plymouth, from where the Puritans sailed on the Mayflower in 1620.

Seth tells the epic and soulful tale of the Pilgrim Fathers on his new album ‘A Pilgrim’s Tale’ due for release in Spring 2020. He’ll be playing songs from the album live with his band in the towns and cities that the Pilgrim Fathers came from. The album features contributions from bass player Ben Nichols, Seth’s sister-in-law Cara Dillon, dad Geoff Lakeman, folk musician Benji Kirkpatrick and is narrated by actor Paul McGann.

Please note: tickets also on sale via See Tickets if you cannot book the seat you are looking for via our site check their availability before calling Box Office to check.

The full levy plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you Enjoy the Show and encourage others to Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
