Fantastic training with industry professionals, live performance opportunities & full scale musicals, encouraging children and young people to become hard working, passionate, dedicated and skilled performers.

The new term begins on Saturday 14th April 2018.

Our weekly performers classes start back on the 8th January as follows:- 

Mondays - Seniors 15+ -  8pm - 9.30pm
Cost - £5/wk for Academy Members
£6/wk for Non Academy Members

Tuesdays - Juniors 7 - 9 yrs - 5 - 6pm
Cost - £5/wk for Academy Members
£6/wk for Non Academy Members

Tuesdays - Mids 9 - 14 yrs - 6pm - 8pm
Cost - £6/wk for Academy Members
£8/wk for Non Academy Members


Suitable for ages 15+ and taught by Courtney Hunt.

TUESDAYS - 8 - 9.30pm
Class costs £5/wk.

We are also proud of the progress of our Blackfriars Dance Academy.  Classes are as follows:-

Abi Kingsley-Parker teaches Associated Board of Dance classes now on Saturdays and Mondays, working towards ABD exams following the below syllabuses-

Infant / Junior Class - Pre Primary / Primary Grades 

2.15 - 3.15pm  Ballet/Tap  - £5 per class

Grade 2 - Ballet

5.30 - 6.30pm

Grade 1 - Ballet
6.30 - 7.30pm 

Mid/Senior Combined
7.30 - 8.00pm  Stage / Commercial

Take both the Ballet and Stage/Commercial classes for just £6 per week. 
Payments to be made weekly in class or via parentmail.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
