Blackfriars Theatre Academy

Fantastic training with industry professionals, live performance opportunities & full scale musicals, encouraging children and young people to become hard working, passionate, dedicated and skilled performers.

We will continue to expand the membership of our Saturday sessions (where participants learn singing, dance and drama and work towards the big productions) as well as our weekday BTA Performers classes (which focus more specifically on Musical Theatre).

We are also proud of the progress of our BTA Dance group……

Abi Kingsley-Parker will continue to teach Associated Board of Dance classes, working towards ABD exams following the below syllabuses-

6.30-7.00pm Ballet
7.00-7.30pm Tap
7.30-8.00pm Modern/Acro

It is £3 per half hour class or £6 if you would like to attend all three classes.

Have a fabulous Summer Holiday and we are looking forward to a fun and successful term starting on the 9th September 2017!

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
