For the very first time, Blackfriars Theatre is proud to partner with the Boston Original Bands Initiative (BOBI) for a night of raw energy, original music and live local talent.

This Metal Showcase features four blistering acts from the region’s thriving alt scene:

• Heartstrung
• Buried By My Heartache

Plus a live vinyl DJ spinning before and after the bands.

BOBI is committed to reinvigorating Boston’s original music scene, offering a rare platform for up-and-coming artists to perform live and be fairly paid for their work.

Expect loud riffs, wild energy, and a truly inclusive atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned metalhead or just curious to hear what Boston’s bands have to offer – this is the gig for you.
