BARRY DODDS
Barry Dodds is an award-winning MC and comedian, and has won best MC at the Midlands Comedy Awards four consecutive times. He effortlessly charms audiences with his unique brand of disarming wit and wry, down to earth observational humour.
In 2015, Barry co-created The Parapod, a podcast debating the existence of the paranormal, explored hauntings and the unknown. Three series, over 3 million downloads, sold out live shows and specials later, The Parapod Movie was unleashed on the show’s many loyal fans hitting the Apple Movie Top Ten movie chart immediately and gathering much praise from both fans and critics alike.
A talented storyteller, Barry is an assured act with regular bookings across the UK’s top comedy clubs including The Glee Club, Frog and Bucket, Manford’s and Hifi. Barry has recently been supporting Jason Manford on his Like Me tour and many other artists in the past including Jim Jefferies, Tape Face, Dan Nightingale, Hayley Ellis and Pete Firman.
He has also performed at many festivals, including Kendal Calling, Download and Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Barry also has a podcast with fellow comedian Hayley Ellis called The Worriers where they fight with their anxieties, fears, OCDs and general bad thinking.

NICK DOODY
Nick Doody is one of the brightest talents on the comedy circuit. Sharp and topical – he’s not afraid to say what he thinks; his brand of political comedy and satire has won him fans all over the country.
Nick’s career as a stand-up got off to a pretty good start, whilst still a student, Nick supported Bill Hicks on his final tour of the UK…Bill himself had requested Nick.
Since then Nick has been a finalist in Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny? competition and has performed all over the world. He was the first British comedian to perform in Croatia. Nick has appeared on various radio and TV shows and is also in great demand as a writer. He has written jokes for Joan Rivers, Lenny Henry, Dame Edna Everage and many Mock The Week regulars.
In 2006, Nick performed his first solo Edinburgh Festival show, Before He Kills Again. The show received rave reviews and sold out for the whole festival, leading to a run at the Soho Theatre. Nick has also written and performed another six solo hours of stand-up, including the most honest title ever to appear on a poster Look At This Massive Picture Of My Face.
Nick’s radio and TV credits as a performer include contributing to shows such as BBC2’s Comedy Map of Britain, ITV2’s Comedy Cuts, Radio 4’s 28 Acts in 28 Minutes, The Mark Thomas Comedy Project on Channel 4, Radio 4’s Political Animal and The Now Show, and BBC3’s Comic Side of 7 Days.
He was also the creator and head writer of Bigipedia, a critically acclaimed Radio 4 show that broadcast in 2009 and 2011.
DAVID EAGLE
David Eagle is a member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award Winning band The Young’uns. In 2018 he branched out into stand up and is now a Radio 4 regular, appearing on the last few series of the Now Show. In August he made his TV debut, performing stand up on Dave’s “Rosie Jones’s Disability Comedy Extravaganza”. His stand up explores how being blind often transforms everyday life into surreal, surprising comic adventures. One of his accordion-driven songs was described in The Guardian as "a comic tour de force." He has won numerous awards including The Spirit Of The Fringe Award at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival (previously won by Stewart Lee, Ross Noble, League Of Gentlemen and Adam Hills), and his debut solo show, The Eagle Is Candid, won Best Variety Show at Leicester Comedy Festival and was nominated for Best Show at Edinburgh Fringe. In 2019 he was crowned New Comedian Of The Year by Leicester Square Theatre, and at both Bath and Nottingham Comedy Festivals; plus three BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

CAREY MARX
Carey has risen through the circuit's ranks and now regularly headlines most clubs, annually comperes at the Reading. Leeds and Glastonbury Festivals, and most recently has been added to the rosters of both the Comedy Store and Jongleurs, two of Britain's largest and most prestigious comedy clubs. The TV executives are beginning to sit up and take note. 'Slam' (ChanneI4) 'The Jack Docherty Show' (Channel 5) 'Gas' (Channel 4) 'The Stand Up Show' (BBC1) 'Trick on Two' (BBC2) That's because of Carey's amazing pedigree as a live performer. With nearly 19 years of show business experience and over some 3000 live appearances, Carey has performed under a variety of guises in an array circumstances, mainly as a world-class sleight of hand magician. Carey's magic career has taken him to 15 countries as far a field as China and Ascension Island. He has performed for the Roiling Stones at Bill Wyman's wedding. He warmed up for Torville and Dean, on ice at Wembley. Elstree Studios hired him to teach Tom Conti how to produces an egg from his ear. He even managed to make Princess Beatrice cry for over an hour. Class. As well as performing close-up magic, a card sharp expose, séance demonstrations, and a hypnosis show, among other things, Carey has lectured for the Magic Circle, written sketches for the BBC, and recently finished his soon to be published novel 'Chaos Crumble and Custard'. As for his comedy, Carey Marx delivers a stream of delightfully amusing and deliciously wicked tales full of hilarious twists and unlikely villains. He Is also happy to perform some of his unique magic routines, on request.
