Join us for another cracking Comedy Night.
DAVE LONGLEY
One of Comedy Hotspot’s favourites, and a regular compere at most of my comedy nights across the UK. "Acid tongued and as sharp as a barrel full of tacks"
As intense and intelligent performer as you're likely to see' (The List)
A working class lad brought up on the mean streets of Derby, Dave has been using humour to survive since his early days in Miss Jones’s class. Back then, Dave used his power for evil, but now he is a force for good, regularly doing charity work down at the local charity house where he does good deeds for charity. Charity.
As well as all the charity work, Dave can be seen all over the country in all the biggest and bestest comedy clubs, as well as some of the lesser known clubs that pay cash in hand.
A professional now for over 20 years, Dave has written for TV and directed many a more successful comedian’s shows, contributing jokes as well as structural expertise. There was also a failed sitcom pilot but we don’t like to discuss that. Dave guarantees a great time.
TONY BURGESS

Tony’s been a regular compere of the long-established Frog and Bucket Comedy club for over 20 years, a founder member of the weekly topical show at the Comedy Store in Manchester and has supported household names like Johnny Vegas on National Theatre tours.
KATE MARTIN
At 6ft 1, with the longest wingspan in comedy (*probably), Kate’s a naturally engaging, energetic performer with effortlessly tight gags to match. Her unique background in mental health has given her a fresh take on the world, a completely distinctive voice, and fuels her high energy storytelling, whip-smart punchlines and razor-sharp observations of life's quirks through queer eyes.
‘Bulletproof’ (Steve Bennett, Chortle)
'She's definitely got funny bones' (Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke)
Kate Martin is ‘brilliantly funny & energetic’ (Angela Barnes) and her ‘confident delivery and slick material’ (Chortle) have quickly established her as one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit. Kate was a finalist of the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022, runner-up in the finals of the WDCF New Comedian of the Year competition 2021, and in 2021 won the Comedy Store’s King Gong, Up the Creeks Blackout, and the Frog and Bucket’s Beat the Frog.
'Kate Martin is brilliantly funny, energetic and a little bit filthy, which I'm sure you'll agree is a pretty great combo' Angela Barnes
'Undeniably gifted. Explosive new talent, definitely an act that you will be bragging about seeing early in her career' (NDC)
Kate Martin is brilliantly funny, energetic and
