Join us at Blackfriars for a guided tour of our fabulous building. Blackfriars Arts Centre was created in the remains of a thirteenth century Dominican friary. The Grade II listed building was built in 1222 by the Dominicans, also known as the Black Friars.

The tour will include a glimpse of the building, an exclusive look at the Guys and Dolls set building process and an insight into our very own Blackfriars Theatre Academy rehearsals as they prepare for Nativity! The Musical.

All tours are free but places are limited so please book your space via the link -

Tours are at 10am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. If you would be interested in helping out please speak to our Box Office.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you enjoy the show and encourage others to help Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
