They have a full schedule of events ranging from poetry to chicklit, from children’s books to historical fiction, and everything in between. There’s bound to be something to suit you, whether you are an avid reader, or just read when you are on an aeroplane on your way to the sun. Come and meet the authors, talk about their work, and perhaps be inspired to write your own best-seller!

All events take place within a small area at venues around Boston’s historic Market Place, the biggest surviving medieval market square in England.

Blackfriars Arts Centre is one of the venues, and will be hosting HANNAH GOLD on Sunday 22nd September between 10am and 11am! Hannah will be giving a talk and signing her new book Turtle Moon, which is an exclusive early release!

Come along and dip into a single event, or binge on books all weekend.

Please check the event location and time carefully for accessibility before booking.

Why not make a day of it?.... Any individual who purchases themselves tickets for 3 or more separate sessions in the same day, will receive a FREE LUNCH VOUCHER on that day, up to the value of £5.50 to be used in our refreshment marquee.

For more information about each author head over to the Boston Book Festival website by clicking here.

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. If you would be interested in helping out please speak to our Box Office.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you enjoy the show and encourage others to help Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
