Crossing The Tracks was formed in 2011, as part of a recording project involving fifteen musicians.

Over the years the gigging ensemble has now compacted itself into a tight-knit band of six, which is the result of three musicians from the hugely popular country rock & Americana band “101 Proof”, blending with three experienced folk performers, most usually seen in the ceilidh band  “Akmeds Camel”, and the acoustic offshoot “The Acoustic Itch”  (who will be presenting a night of completely different songs here in Blackfriars Revue Bar on 8th November)

With a repertoire drawn from country, blues, folk and  rock and artists ranging from classic Creedence through to Richard Thompson and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to the Allman Brothers, the band return to Blackfriars with their acclaimed  electric, eclectic and entertaining live set.

Mick Wilson - lead vocals & acoustic guitar
Phil Biggs - lead vocals, guitars, flute & whistle
Kim Biggs - accordion & backing vocals
David Tucker - electric guitar, banjo, mandolin, slide guitar
Mark Addison - bass guitars, electric double bass
Ian Tait – drum kit, percussion & backing vocals

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. If you would be interested in helping out please speak to our Box Office.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you enjoy the show and encourage others to help Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
