Charles Court Opera returns by popular demand with their irresistible London production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience, after their huge success with The Mikado.

This fresh and witty production of Gilbert & Sullivan's satire on artistic movements and meaningless fads, brims with cheeky humour, memorable songs and wonderfully Gilbertian characters.

Directed by G&S specialist John Savournin, whose recent successes include The Pirates of Penzance in a co-production with CCO and Opera Holland Park, with musical direction by CCO Music Director David Eaton and beautiful design by awarding winning designer Simon Bejer, this production brings Gilbert's plot bang up to date and accessible to today's audience.

" genius... Hilarity with class - the hallmark of a Charles Court opera."

Hackney Gazette

"This is grown-up, witty, divinely frivolous entertainment at its very, very best."
Islington Gazette

"Patience has never been funnier"
