As a Theatre run mainly by Volunteers we are reliant on help to ensure that the Shows can go on and that we can give the best possible service to the theatregoers when they are here. 

Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre are recruiting an Executive Director to join their expanding team.  This is a 3 Year Contract with a view to extending subject to funding.

We are excited that our Blackfriars Quiz Nights are back in Audreys Bar. The quiz is being held on the first Friday of each month at 8pm.

Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre are supporting the #LightItInRed campaign again this month!

Blackfriars Arts Centre re-launched its Sponsor a Seat campaign back in 2015 when they started the first phase of their Refurbishment Plan and the scheme is still going strong now. 

Young Lincolnshire and Discover Volunteering CIC have launched Boston's 6th Annual Creative Writing Competition for young people this week. 

This is a very worrying and difficult time for everyone not least all those involved in the Theatre and Performing world.

In order to safe guard our Volunteers and our regulars we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the Coffee Morning this Friday 20th March at Blackfriars Theatre. 

Blackfriars Volunteers are holding a Coffee Morning in the Blackfriars Foyer on Friday 17th January from 10am - 12pm.
